Welcome: Owner Nancy Lassen is a 200RYT yoga instructor and a long-time member of the community. Her joy and passion are to inspire more people to join in the practice of yoga. She looks forward to welcoming you to the studio.

Mission: At Centering Yoga, we want to make yoga accessible, available and adaptable.
Accessible: If you are new to yoga and want to begin a practice, we are here for you. If you have previously enjoyed an in-home yoga practice or taken classes elsewhere, we are here for you. We always offer options in our classes, so you can decide whether you are looking for more or less sensation in your practice. We believe in learning (alignment and poses), listening (to our bodies) and letting go (of expectations and judgment).
Available: As Battle Creek’s first and only dedicated yoga studio, we offer our students the widest range of classes in the area. We want yoga to be a daily, available option for our community.
Adaptable: Every day is different and every body is different. Centering Yoga embraces the individuality of each participant and encourages its students to let go of any preconceived ideas of what yoga should be. Instead, students are urged to practice based on how they feel in the moment. Everyone should be able to find a place and feel comfortable in yoga.
