Where to begin?
If you are interested in taking a class, we encourage online registration. It’s simple and quick. You’ll get to secure a spot for class in advance, and we’ll even give you a discount! First, create an account. Second, register for a class. It’s truly that easy!
Of course, we welcome drop-in students as well. Please note, however, our space is intentionally small and intimate; classes fill up, so look online to check class space availability. We look forward to welcoming you!
What to expect?
Whether you’re a long-time yogi or a first-time student, we want you to feel welcome. See below for tips and hints to enhance your experience.
Arrival: Our studio opens 30 minutes prior to class. We encourage students to arrive at least 10 minutes in advance of the posted class time. We will lock the outside door at the start of class for safety, so please arrive early.
Storage: We have complimentary cubbies for storing clothing, shoes, coats, etc.
Centering Time: Upon entering the yoga studio from the reception area, please leave your worries, conversation and extra clothing outside. Enjoy some quiet time on your mat and prepare for the yoga journey ahead.
Temperature: We heat our room to 70 degrees for all classes, except hot yoga, which is at 90 degrees. We want to ensure the muscles and joints are warm enough for safe movement, so please dress with the room temperature in mind.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing (shorts, capris, tank tops, t-shirts) that will allow you to move freely in a warmed environment. Note many participants prefer close-fitting tops that will not rise up during class.
Shoes: In order to grip the mat safely, students are requested to remove shoes and socks before class.
Yoga mat: Most participants prefer bringing their own mat to class. Don’t have one? No problem. We offer complimentary mats for use during class, as well as offer mats for purchase.
Props: We provide a premium experience for our class participants, with blocks, bolsters, blankets, yoga straps and eye pillows available for in-class use and for purchase.
Food and Drink: It is recommended to refrain from eating one hour prior to class. Please drink plenty of water prior to, during and after any hot yoga class.
